In 1968, Terry Farrington relocated to Birmingham, AL where her friend, Donna Jones, was active in a local dance studio.With the help of the Baumann family, they opened TeriDona School of Dance.
For over 50 years, thousands of students have walked through the studio doors. Many went on to use the training they got from TeriDona in performance-related fields, while others simply reminisce on the skills that would help them throughout their lives.
In 2013, Renee Lamar and Heather Roberts acquired the studio, continuing the Legacy, of TeriDona School of Dance.
Still located in Hueytown, TeriDona continues to participate in local events such as community parades and dance competitions as well as performing in Walt Disney World and New York City.
