Hi All!!
Our first few weeks have flown by! We are so excited about the upcoming year! Here are a few updates we have for you…
- Shana Arrington Busby is joining us as the office manager this year. Both of her daughters danced at TeriDona. Mrs. Jane is working from home this year and is still helping with accounts and customer service. Please call us at 205-491-2501 or email info@teridonadance.com with any questions or issues you may have.
- If you are going to miss class, please let us know in advance. We have multiple waitlists this year and we are trying to accommodate as many students as we can safely. We don’t want to cancel your enrollment accidentally.
- JackRabbit requires that a card or bank account be placed on file for ALL accounts. You have the option to pay any way you like until the 15th of each month, at that time your card or account on file will be debited the amount owed. This is an automatic draft. We do not have access to your portal, this is a security feature used by JackRabbit. Accounts with cards on file that are repeatedly declined are subject to withdrawal.
- Remember that the first costume payments will be added to accounts September 1, 2021. If we don’t order early, we will not have them in time for pictures in February. Second costume payments will be added in October. Students who have more than two costumes will be added monthly after that.
- We have limited class openings in our 2/3, 4/5 and 6/7 combination classes. It’s not too late to register. We will issue you a $5 studio credit for every new student you bring in!
- All students traveling to Disney with us this Christmas will begin rehearsals for our parade and stage show performances mid-september. Be looking for more information soon!
- Please make sure to bring a water bottle to class. We have a new water filler in the studio available to all students. No drinks of any kind, other than water are allowed in classrooms.
Finally, we would LOVE to introduce you all to our newest faculty member, Linnea Blakemore. A 2017 graduate of Vestavia High School and 2021 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Linnea majored in Dance Performance and Choreography. She has been dancing for 20 years. Her pre-secondary education training began at Birmingham Ballet Academy under the guidance of Academy Director Cindy Free. She served on both the Dance Student Advisory Council and the Student Dance Organization. She will be teaching in many different classes from preschool to high school. We welcome her expertise and positive outlook!
As always, let us know if you have any questions! We look forward to a great 2021-22 season!
